Family holds funeral for Rev Anthony Kwadwo Boakye’s Funeral

The final funeral rites of Rev Anthony Kwadwo Boakye, the founder of Resurrection Power New Generation Church, was held yesterday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The event had been rocked with some confusion prior to the day after the wife went to court to seek an injunction. against the family from organising the funeral.

However, the Church, family and some friends and loved ones of the departed Rev turned up in their numbers at the Accra Sport Stadium to bury the late founder of the Resurrection Power Church.

The mortal remains of the departed Rev was laid in state as mourner filed past him to pay their last respects to him.

Conspicuously missing was the wife of the late Rev, Mrs Margaret Boakye and her children. Prior to his death, Rev Boakye and his wife had been separated.
