NPP expels 4 members for supporting Alan

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has expelled four leading members of the party because of their loyalty to breakaway independent candidate, Alan Kyeremanten.
The four, Nana Ohene Ntow, a former General Secretary of the party, Boniface Saddique, a former MP and Minister under the Akufo Addo government, Yaw Buabeng Asamoah, former MP and Communication Director of the Party and Hopeson Adorye have welcomed their expulsion.
The NPP in a statement said the four by publicly endorsing the candidature of Alan Kyeremanten, breached the party’s constitution hence their expulsion.
And in statement on behalf of the four, Yaw Buaben Asamoah noted that “Though none of the persons mentioned has received a personal copy, we accept our resignation from the NPP and pledge our commitment to Ghana’s success through our support for Alan Kyerematen. We also take this opportunity to respond and set the minds of concerned, well-meaning patriots at ease.”
