I asked for divorce, but Patapaa was not taking me serious – Liha

Liha Miller, estranged wife of Ghanaian musician, Patapaa, says she has moved on from her marriage with the Ghanaian.

Their marriage had been the subject of social media speculations and accusations but Liha had remained relatively tight-lipped, refraining from divulging details of their challenges. But Patapaa has been quite vocal, even at a point sensationally accusing blogger Zion Felix of interfering in his marriage.

While the signs about the collapse of their marriage were evident, Patapaa in 2022 apologised to Liha and her family for some unsavoury comments he made about the marriage. But in May this year, viral videos of the Liha in intimate photos with another man seem to have affirmed speculations of a total breakdown in their marriage.

In a recent visit to the country, the young German lady exuded maturity as she confirmed that they were going through divorce proceedings.

“I don’t have to put out my private life…but I think I have to make some things clear. I got married to Patapaa in 2021 but the marriage did not work out. We are officially married because we did the court marriage, and in Ghana it is a process so I have asked for a divorce so we are in the process. I have not spoken to Patapaa directly but I have spoken to his parents. We have not been talking for about two years. I asked for a divorce a long time ago but he did not take me serious,” she revealed.
