We are acting a Jesus movie – Prophet Adom Kyei
The founder and leader of the Philadelphia Movement, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah, has thrown a salvo at the Christian Council of Ghana, warning the Church to be respectful.
This follows a statement issued by the council denouncing claims by Prophet Adom Kyei that he had been instructed by God to replace the image of Jesus on calendars, a change he said would happen for the next 500 years.
According to the Christian Council, the statement made by Prophet Adom Kyei Duah, was anti-christ in nature, and it urged Christians in the country to disregard and “save their souls from destruction.”
“The church is hereby being cautioned against misleading doctrines that have the tendency to destroy the faith of vulnerable and well-meaning Christians. We should be mindful of false prophets and false teachers who will claim to be the Messiah…,” the Council said in its statement.
But Prophet Adom Kyei Duah in a sermon at his church warned the Council to be respectful of elders.
“I am warning the Christian Council of Ghana to be respectful…respect the elderly. I have told you that we are acting a Jesus movie. Whatever happened in the Bible will happen again. However, the role you are playing is not according to what happened in the Bible. This was not how the evil pastors played their role in the Bible,” he addressed the Christian Council of Ghana. “Christian Council you need to be cautioned. Next time, follow the regulations, for we are acting Jesus,” he declared.
