Deep controversy over musician’s death
The death of Sowutuom-based young musician, Wyllbee, in Abuakwa Tanoso continues to stir controversy following conflicting reports.
Initial reports suggested that the musician had visited his girlfriend who is said to be married and staying with the boy’s mother at Tanoso Abuakwa in the Ashanti Region. According to some accounts, the boy had stepped out in the night to use the washroom but was accused of being a thief and beaten to his death after the lady denied his claim that he was her boyfriend.
Husband of the said lady, who is based abroad, has, however, dismissed those claims as false and alleged that the late musician was a armed robber who attempted to break into the room of his wife as she slept with their son.
According to him, his son corroborated the story of the alleged attack wondering how the young musician would be sleeping with his wife when his son was there with them.
But the mother of the late musician has responded has responded to claims that he was a thief. She said although her liked he was definitely not a thief. “He never drank alcohol, smoked. His liked food and ladies. He had travelled to Kumasi with his belongings and a piano,” she said and added that why would someone going on an armed robbery expedition go with a piano,” she quizzed.
“He was into ladies but even with that he told me that he had stopped,” his mother tearfully recounted.
However, in a latest twist, socialite, Afia Schwarzenegger has revealed that her police sources in the region indicate that there was no record of any conversation history between the deceased and the lady in question.
But a resident in the area in a social media video claims she had seen the two together the night of the incident and debunked the account of the lady that she did not know the late musician.
