Trump attacker had photos of Princess Kate on phone
According to the FBI, Thomas Matthew Crooks, the gunman who tried to assassinate former US President, Donald Trump, had saved pictures of Kate Middleton on her phone.
While it is not clear why he had looked up photos of Princess Kate on her phone, it has emerged that Crroks had also searched for photos of both Donald Trump and Joe Biden as well as the dates for the Democratic National Convention.
He is also believed to have searched Ethan Crumbley, a previous mass shooter who is serving life without parole for his mass shooting at Oxford High School in Michigan.
There was no evidence, however, that Crooks was planning a trip to the UK, according to investigators.
According to reports, FBI agents had struggled to gain access to his browsing history on his phone and the phone had to be sent to the FBI headquarters in Virginia in order to use more advanced technology to gain access to the phone.
