Dr. Bawumia suspends campaign

The Presidential Candidate of the NPP in the upcoming elections, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has suspended his campaign, according to a statement from the Communications Director of his campaign, Miracles Aboagye.

The statement said, the move is to get the party ready for the launch of its manifesto in Takoradi on Sunday, 18^th August, 2024.

According to the Communication Director of the Bawumia Campaign, Miracles Aboagye, the campaign will resume immediately after the manifesto launch.

“The leader of the NPP, will together with the team, will within the next few days preparing and finalizing the NPP 2024 Manifesto which is scheduled to be launched on Sunday, August 18, 2024,” the statement said.

The party has appointed an 11-member committee, chaired by Oboshie Sai-Coffie to oversee the planning and execution of the manifesto launch.
