We don’t know what exactly killed her – Akua Donkor’s son

Eldest son of the late presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party has disclosed that they were yet to be told by medical professionals who attended to his mother as to what exactly killed her.

Akwasi Baffour also indicated that her late mum, Madam Akua Donkor was 83, and not 72 as widely reported by sections of the media.

According to a report by the Ghanaweb news portal, Akwasi Baffour said her mother was rushed to the Nsawam Government Hospital in the early hours of Monday, October 28 following sudden illness.

He indicated that the doctors at the Nsawam Government Hospital referred her to the Ridge Hospital where doctors there doctors told them that although her situation was serious, they were doing their best to save her.

He said they received a call around 10pm yesterday that their mother had passed on, but were yet to be told what exactly killed her
