Akufo-Addo questions feasibility of Mahama’s “24-Hour Economy”

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has questioned the practicality of former President John Dramani Mahama’s “24-hour economy” policy based on Mahama’s previous term in office.
Speaking during a campaign tour in the Tema West constituency, Akufo-Addo argued that Mahama’s administration failed to provide consistent power, with electricity available for only 12 hours a day, and struggled with paying allowances for teacher and nurse training.
He urged voters to reject Mahama’s proposal, asserting that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) under Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would ensure sustained development for Ghana.
