The first person in line at one of the pollen stations told TV3, “I slept here overnight to vote early. Many people vote here, so I wanted to avoid long delays and finish early. Others reported arriving around 5:00 AM, determined to exercise their civic rights as quickly as possible. In contrast, at the Ayawaso West constituency, one of the key constituencies of interest initial voter turnout was lower in the early hours, with no reports of overnight arrivals. Moreover, party agents and election officials faced initial challenges, including a dispute over the placement of  voting booths. This was swiftly resolved by a migration officer, though some logistical issues, such as the absence of tables for election officials, delayed full setup at the station. Who will emerge victorious—Bawumia or Mahama? As the day unfolds, all eyes remain on polling stations to see how voter enthusiasm translates into turnout and, ultimately, the election results.
