John Dumelo’s father passes away

John Dumelo, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has lost his father, Engineer John William Kudzo Anato-Dumelo Snr.
The 75-year-old father passed away just days before Dumelo’s swearing-in ceremony.
Dumelo shared a heartfelt tribute to his late father on social media, describing him as his “best friend” and “number 1 cheerleader”.
John said he had spoken with his father the previous day, discussing various topics including politics, farming, and business. Shortly after, he received a call informing him that his father had stopped responding.
He further expressed his gratitude to his father for his guidance, support, and love throughout his life.
John also sent a message to his mother, who passed away last year, saying “Say hi to mum for us all… we will miss you. Rest in perfect peace.”
Dumelo’s loss comes as he prepares to start his new political role as an MP for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency
