Kofi Adoma flown to Dubai following shooting incident

Popular Ghanaian journalist, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani is currently in Dubai receiving specialized medical care following a shooting incident in Dormaa.

Reports from Joy News indicate that the incident occurred during a funeral where musketry was being fired as part of the event’s customs. Gunpowder from one of the firearms struck Kofi Adoma’s face, causing severe eye injuries that resulted in blurry vision.

Initially hospitalized in Ghana for treatment, Kofi Adoma was later flown to Dubai for advanced care. His wife, Nana Eturba, popularly known as Miracle Adoma, provided an update on his condition. She stated, “Sorry I can’t respond to the numerous WhatsApp calls on my phone and that of my husband now. Currently, he is stable, and we hope for the best. Thanks for the care.”

The incident had sparked widespread rumors about whether Kofi Adoma was involved in a shooting and if he was flown to Dubai for treatment. As updates about his condition surface, the rumors have been cleared, and many are hopeful for a positive outcome for the broadcaster.
