When Rev Obofour’s wife, Queen Ciara, stormed social media, declaring unflinching commitment to her marriage with a seemingly tipsy slur, it stirred gossipy social media reels; “I will never divorce my husband,” she declared in a tirade many considered to be a sharp riposte to her alleged rival, Maame Sika CEO of Aduane Foods.

Apparently, Maame Sika been around for a while if her social media posts are anything to go by, although she appeared to have been quite demure. But in celebrating ‘His Royal Highness’ as she referred to Rev Obofour on his birthday, she signaled her existence, and not exactly on the sidelines? Indeed, on one occasion, she referred to herself as Osofo Maame!
At Rev Obofour’s mother’s funeral last year, Maame Sika turned heads with a mammoth donation – GHS200,000. And now, a glittering ring on her wedding finger arouses curious eyes, although nothing seems concrete yet between Maame Sika and ‘His Royal Highness’. Rev. Obofour has been evasive in addressing the rumours to the point of even suggesting that some photos of him and Maame Sika could be doctored images.

But as they say, there is no smoke without fire, especially when Queen Ciara, in that fit of explosive social media diatribe, declared: “I respect myself and I know my position…I have been married to Rev Obofour since 2010. We have been together for 18 good years, and I am not ready to give up on anybody. My husband is my husband…People have called me names to the point of calling me a lesbian, but my husband knows that he is the only man I love. I am the legal wife to Rev Obofour, and I don’t know anyone else…I don’t know any other woman.” I will never leave him for any woman, over my dead body. I love him, that is why I married him. I am real. I don’t give a fuck about any woman…and Rev Obofour is mine forever. I heard about a name, but I don’t want to mention any name.”

Rev Obofour, in a social media interaction with Ajagurajah, said her wife queried him over the issue; “She asked me whether I had married any other woman, I told her, no; whether I loved her, I said yes; whether I loved my kids, I said yes. The issue seems to have affected her psychologically”.
Enter Abena Kwatemaa, who says she has been with Rev Obofour for 10 years and has two kids with him.
In a leaked conversation, Kwartemaa sets her guns on Queen Ciara, touting her natural looks as opposed to what she claimed to be the procured and enhanced looks of Queen Ciara; she also lashes out at Maame Sika, describing her as ‘pitri pitri’ a local expression for busy bodies.
Rev Obofour’s response to the social media crossfire has been tactful, cautioning his church members against prying into his family life, and stressing that he lives his life to please God, and not man.
