Presidency clarifies rumors concerning Asante Bediatuo’s health status

A statement from the presidency has indicated that Executive Secretary of the president and Ambassador-at-large, Mr. Asante Bediatuo, is presently in a stable condition after receiving treatment in the US.
The statement issued on 2nd October by Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the Office of the President stated that ‘He is currently in stable condition and responding well to treatment’, and that “According to the medical team, Nana Bediatuo Asante’s recovery is on track, and we remain hopeful for his swift return to full strength.”
Also, the statement indicated that Mr. Bediatuo became ill after working on official business during a trip to the annual United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The presidency also asked for continuous prayers and support for Asante and his family, promising to share additional updates as his condition improves.
The presidency released the statement for to clarify to rising speculations over the health of Nana Bediatuo Asante.
According to reports by The Herald, there were multiple claims alleging that Asante Bediatuo was undergoing brain surgery due to a stroke in the US while other comments alleged that Mr. Asante was dead.
Other rumors about reason for his health status were being linked to comments of Hopeson Adorye who stated that any one at jubilee house who did not wish him well will rather be affected by whatever evil plans they were plotting.
